I define and run the EVT, DVT and PVT programme with evidence-based stage gates, apply design for manufacture and design for test before tooling commitments are made, and lead the manufacturing transfer including documentation and configuration control. The output is an industrialisation plan with gate criteria, a DFM/DFT findings and test-coverage set, and a launch readiness assessment agreed with manufacturing and quality — so products release on a date the business can defend, built by a partner who can repeat the result.

I ensure that quality, regulatory and compliance requirements are built into operational design, product release, manufacturing and scale, working alongside specialist regulatory functions and advisers where required.

I map the regulatory pathway and standards that apply to the product and target markets, design or improve the QMS so it is proportionate, auditable and embedded in daily work, and build the technical and risk management files with the post-market surveillance capability behind them. Quality becomes a controlled system rather than a last-minute inspection — with specialist regulatory advisers used where deep subject expertise is required.
